We do admit to a wee bit of thieving here. In the late 1980s our wee Lismor shop was selling tons of Phil Coulter tapes with Phil, his piano and an orchestra playing the melodies of Ireland. So what a challenge it was to do the same but with (we thought) the even stronger melodies of Scotland.
With David Pringle at the piano we kinda created The Gaelforce Orchestra but with an added rhythm section, healthy guitar sounds and an added thump of drums. It was very successful we are pleased to say.
