Melodic, laid back folk music. Not totally acoustic, but even the 'bits with a plug' are still tasty and not overpowering.
The tunes come from the 16th Century through to the present. One highlight of many is the composer's favourite version of "The Last Leviathan' ('Song of the Great Whale').
An album that oozes quality and a very good introduction to good music.
