“Gwenllian” is the new album and indeed another truly beautiful, mesmeric recording from the leading Welsh virtuoso triple harp player, Llio Rhydderch.

The title takes it’s inspiration from 13th Century Welsh history : Princess Gwenllian being the daughter of the last native Prince of Wales, Llywelyn ap Gruffydd, and his wife Eleanor de Montfort.Gwenllian was born in 1282 at
Abergwyngregyn on the shore of the Menai Straits. At the command of Edward I she was taken as a baby to the Gilbertine Priory of Sempringham in Lincolnshire where she remained for the rest of her days until her death in 1337.
