FIRST HEARING:
A melancholy start to a lively set of jigs for this album of 'Northumbrian fiddle music', though we assume they mean the players and not exclusively the music.
There seems to be a strong nod of appreciation the the composers from both the Shetlands and the West-coast.
Very tasteful. Have a wee listen.
