Considerd to be one of Scotland's top fiddle players, Sarah - Jane Smmers was taught by the late, great Donald Riddell, who learned his fiddling from Alexander Grant of Battangorm add to this a masters degree in Norwegian traditional music and free improvisation on Hardanger fiddle from the prestigious Norwegian State Academy of Music, and the result is a versatile,free-thinking and impassioned performer.
