FIRST HEARING:
A plaintive fiddle opens and is in time joined by the harp. It's almost three minutes in before we get the vocal, the pure voice of Maggie MacInnes.
The notes suggest this is a serious labour of love and this first track patiently draws the listener into agreeing.
We think this will grow on a much wider audience than Gaelic speakers only.
Have a listen.
