The first & last tracks are in English, the other ten are Gaelic song.
Accompanied in the main by his with Jenny on piano, Neil has a powerful voice and certainly attacks the songs with gusto.
These tracks were digitally remastered from the old 78s and they were recorded between 1928 and the early 1950s.
We have found a wee upsurge in interest in the old Gaelic recordings we have found and this one deserves to do just as well.
