FIRST HEARING:
As this is Volume 3 we can only assume we have missed a couple of spectacular earlier releases.
The idea is to pick the finest players of the wooden flute and have them donate their finest works to the release and so encourage others to take up the instrument.
It's all organised by a charitable, non-profit organisation based in Los Angeles so it is well worth supporting.
The only draw-back we can see is that you are sitting there with your flute in your hand ready to play along then these guys start to play and we think most folks would put their wee wooden flute back in it's box.
For flute players - a MUST HAVE release.
For folk music fans, again, a MUST HAVE.
Bodhran players might get a lot of fun out of this also but we won't go into that!
