FIRST HEARING:
We admit it, first time around we though this French attempt at 'bagpipe music' was one step away from kazoos at best; 'paper & comb' at worst.
BUT it really is much much more than that.
Here we have one of the best Bagads in the world in all their glory. Amazing arrangements, dynamic playing, full of 'joie de vivre' (is that French?), fun too and an real ear opener.
Think what the 78th Fraser Highlanders might have sounded like if they came from Quebec rather than Ontario!!
It really is something else! And we are talking way over 3 hours here!
