FIRST HEARING:
A classic pipe band march tune which has constantly been featured in the repertoire of every 'Shotts' band through at least four pipe majors.
The only problem for many will be the ongoing commentated history of the band - greatly interesting the first time or two but getting in the way of the music after that. That is, of course, except for the 'hard core pipe band fans' who may also object to the removal of the word 'Caledonia' from the band's name.
But a very timely release, too, with 'The Shotts' winning the 2005 World Pipe Band Championship - the BEST PIPE BAND IN THE WORLD.
