FIRST HEARING:
Sean-nos is accepted as not being everyones cup of tea - generally unaccompanied singing in Irish Gaelic which can, like Scots Gaelic, be regional in nature.
However if you have a leaning towards the style then get in the queue behind the fans 'cause they will all be wanting this.
A master of the style (the Deise tradition of County Waterford) in the 1960s - this is a welcome CD release of 20 of the original recordings.
