The pipes, and pipe bands too, have certainly played airs and have often played hymns but we think this might be the first album dedicated just to hymns and airs.
Plaintive, passionate or haunting (pick your own description) this is an album that will work for a lot of people.
Maybe could have done with a few more hymns to eek out the playing time a bit.
