FIRST HEARING:
The first of two CDs from the third series of Transatlantic Sessions and, as ever, it's Aly Bain who sets the festivities alight.
It's all wonderful stuff created in a setting of almost casual acquainting and playing.
Some of the names will be familiar from earlier series' but the balance of new 'house residents' is just right.
So sit back and be entertained by probably the best 'house band' in the world.
