ABOUT BOOKMARKS and RODDY HART...
Bookmarks is the debut studio album from 26 year old Scottish singer/songwriter Roddy Hart, released in the UK in May 2006 on Vertical Records. Written and produced by Roddy (with co-production from Paul McGeechan), it features guest performances from legendary US singer Kris Kristofferson, Scotland's very own Eddi Reader, and members of the Trashcan Sinatras, amongst others. Roddy has toured and played shows in America (including South by Southwest), Japan, Spain, Ireland and the UK, and opened for artists such as Kris Kristofferson, John Prine, Ray LaMontagne, and Teddy Thompson (as well as recording songs one late and rainy night in Glasgow with Ryan Adams and Brad Pemberton from the Cardinals that might one day see the light...). Watch out for his shows, both solo and with band, near you soon.
