MUSIC
Mary Ann, Glasgow-born scion of a well-known family of singers and pipers from the Isle of Skye has taken her traditional music background and formative top-level training as a classical musician, and coupled it with fifteen years experience working with the BBC to become a major figure in the Scottish music scene, equally respected as a performer and as an authoritative commentator in several genres of music � world music, classical, traditional and folk.

BROADCASTING
Her broadcast credits include radio work for BBC Radio Scotland , BBC Radio 3, RTE and BBC Radio nan Gaidheal, and presentation and performance on BBC Scotland, BBC2, TG4 and BBC4, fronting major series and specials on world and traditional Scottish and Irish music..

INDUSTRY
Mary Ann, in conjunction with Watercolour Music has been involved with a range of arts administration, advocacy, consultancy and artistic management projects, based on the directors' skills and combined years of experience in the music industry.
Projects have included tour management of one of the inaugural Scottish Arts Council - Tune Up tours, setting up Ceilear! � a community singing project in Lochaber, and project management of self-release recordings of emerging artists such as Teine , Iain Angus MacLeod , and Shona Mooney (BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year 2006).
