From the CD Booklet " Early Days "

The recordings on this CD were originally issued in the early 1970s on the Glasgow based Thistle of Scotland label BSLP116S- Farewell to the Tay. The label had been founded many years earlier by the great Scots tenor, Robert Wilson.

Jim Berry and his band were well known artistes of the era indeed they remain today, three decades later, a testimony to their skills and popularity as traditional entertainers.
